A COMPREHENSIVE car and commercial vehicle insurance service — Freightcover — has been launched by the Freight Transport Association. It offers lorry operators unlimited third party property damage, unlimited legal defence costs, foreign use extension up to 15 days, and unlimited cover for windscreen damage. Other services include automatic cover for fitted radios and cassette players, automatic cover for tarpaulins, ropes and sheets, and special compensation in respect of loss of drivers' licences.
