At the installation court of the Worshipful Company of Carmen in London this evening, G. W. Quick Smith, chief executive of the Transport Holding Company, will be installed as Master. He will then preside at tonight's court dinner, assisted by the senior warden, N. Bezzant and the junior warden, 3. Lewis. Sir Reginald Wilson, THC deputy chairman, will propose the toast of the company, while P. K. Jennens, chairman of Temple Press Ltd., will reply to the toast of the guests.
T. H. Crutchley of Henry H. Crutchley Ltd. has been re-elected chairman of the tipping functional group of the RHA, North Western (Western) area.
R. T. Knowles and 5. B. Holliwell have been appointed directors of Metropolitan-CammellWeyman Ltd. Mr. Knowles will continue to be responsible for sales and marketing. Mr. Holliwell is also a director and general works manager of Metropolitan-Cammell Ltd.
Arthur Edwardes, of E. A. Notcutt and Co. Ltd., London, EC2. has been elected chairman of the RHA insurance panel. He succeeds L. A. Bennett who has held the position for 21 years.
