and Agricultural Functional Group of the Road Haulage Association has recommended that rates for carrying sugar beet be increased by 7-1%, w;th the proviso that if the wage increase at present under consideration becomes effective • there should be a further increase of 21%.
The group points out that rates were not increased last November in accordance with an association recommendation as contracts had already been entered into.
