TWO COURSES on the Certificate of Professional Competence are being held by the Freight Transport Association.
Students will attend a half-day residential workshop about 12 weeks before the exam, carrying out study at home and returning test papers. Two or three weeks before the exam, the residential course is held at the FTA's Management Training Centre at Wadhurst, East Sussex, with intense revision tests. Students return to their regional base to take the exam.
The February course dates are February 6-11 and 13-18 for examinations on February 25, 1983.
The courses open to FTA member companies cost £400 plus vat per delegate.
The FTA is also holding a workshop management course from January 24-27 at its Wadhurst training centre. It will deal with management skills, specific management skills and financial and administrative skills.
The course is residential and costs £325 plus vat per delegate.
