Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

A 65-VEHICLE Contract A to A rA tanker switch was granted to Regent Transport Ltd., of Barking, by the Metropolitan Licensing Authority, Mr. D. I. R. Muir, on Tuesday.

The applicants originally applied for the user bulk liquids, mainly solvents for the paint and chemical trade" (see The Commercial Motor, October 2) but at this week's resumed hearing Mr. M. H. Jackson-Lipkin, for Regent, said that agreement had been reached with the objectors during the adjournment. This involved a reduction in the number of maintenance vehicles the company was seeking in addition to the switch application. Regent had also agreed to delete the word mainly" from the normal user.

Granting the application, plus the six maintenance vehicles, Mr. Muir said that it was an admirable settlement.
