Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

I Gigant displayed its SAE Protec axle at the IRTE Show, equipped with what is believed to be the first two-piece disc brake, which can be changed without disturbing the caliper.

The 430mm disc is literally broken in two across its diameter, using a principle now well established for manufacturing conrod big-end caps: the two halves are held together with a simple locking collar. The axle also features ABS sensing gear inside the hub cap.

See pages 18-20 for a full IRTE Show report.
