A NEWCOMER to. the ranks of 1-t trailer makers is Scotiorn, Ltd., Victor Works, Kingston Road, New Malden, Surrey. Trailers in production at the present time are two-w-heeters of 10-cwt. and I-ton capacity. Both models arc , of all-steel construction, the body on the smaller model measuring 5 ft. 5 in. by 3 ft. 3 in., with I-ft. 6-in. sides.

The body on the 1-ton model is 611 long by 4 ft. aide, the depth of the sides also being 1 ft. 6 in. En both cases, 18-gauge steel is used for the sides, with a I6-gauge steel drop tailboard for the 10-cwt. model and -.18-gauge steel tailboard and headboard oa the larger trailer. • The I-tonner has a h-in. steel floor. In both cases the body is well braced with pressed-steel channels. When detached from the towing vehicle, an adjustable jockey wheel can be brought into use, Overrun and parking brakes are fitted, and the suspension is by semi-elliptic springs.

These trailers are also being supplied as water-tank vehicles, the 10-cwt. chassis having a 120-gallon tank and the 1-ton model a 250-gallon tank.
