Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

tons per hour provided by a single auger can prove too slow at some delivery points, the lower part of the larger containers in the range produced by N. Tamplin and Co. Ltd. have been redesigned to take twin augers, these providing rates of up to 50/60 tons per hour. To drive these a larger, 9 h.p. petrol unit—now of Briggs and Stratton make—is fitted, together with a clutch enabling the engine to be started independently of the augers. Alternatively, mainscoupled electric drive can be provided or hydraulic drive which is p.t.-o.-driven from the main gearbox. Selfsealing couplings in the flexible pipelines provide for the hydraulic drive to be detached. Now also being offered on Tamplin containers is double skinning, the exterior cladding being in aluminium alloy. One of the latest containers, with double discharge, is shown on an A.E.C. Marshal in the accompanying picture, this 740-cu.-ft. container being 24 ft. long; extra capacity can be provided by fitting spillboards under the hoop line when lighter types of material are being handled.
