• East London Waste Authority has doubled its fleet with the arrival of 15 daycabbed Foden 3325 trucks for containerised waste delivery and on-site transfer operation.
Seven are 8x4 rigids with 42m3 PPG tipping bodies and Edbro front end gear, while the rest are double-drive 6x4 tractive units.
All have Cummins L10 engines, Eaton 9-speed constant mesh gearboxes, 4.89:1 Rockwell rear axles and FF20 rubber bogie suspension.
ELW is in the process of tendering for a batch of 70m3 selfejecting bulker trailers plus a number of skeletals to haul waste containers.
