• Fewer hauliers than hoped for have taken up the offer of Saturday truck inspections (CM 30 May-5 June). The Vehicle Inspectorate says that of the 17 testing stations offering the Saturday service only three, at Mitcham, Stoke and Liverpool, have drawn "encouraging numbers".
