Cartel campaign • Six hauliers who were victims of a North-East diesel price-fixing cartel have asked RHA district manager Geoff Dunning to help their fight for compensation (CM 23-29 May) and now Dunning is appealing for other victims to contact him.
HGV fall • i HGV traffic in the first quarter of this year was down 8% compared with the same period of 1990.
Profits slump • United Transport, the distribution division of BET, suffered a 20% slump in operating profits down from £51.2m last year to £40.9m in 1991.
