• North Yorkshire haulier Flowers of York has gone into receivership — its goodwill and assets are up for sale.
Receiver Touche Ross is trying to find a buyer for the firm which it describes as engaged in "warehousing, distribution, road haulage, vehicle rental and vehicle repair".
Flowers assets include a freehold site, a vehicle test station, storage facilities, offices and a vehicle fleet. Its customers include "blue chip national companies", says Touche Ross.
