• More than 1,200 staff at London Forest Travel were holding a ballot as CM went to press to decide whether to strike over plans for an 18% pay cut and a two-hour increase to the working week.
The London Buses subsidiary says that unless the measures are implemented it may have to cut 300 jobs from its workforce of nearly 1,400.
