Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

I READ with great interest the news report in CM, May 30 headed "Bad maintenance restricts 0-licence". Your report stated, "but when the firm became a subsidiary of the Birmingham-based Royal Vehicle Group, standards deteriorated". This should read "but when the firm became a subsidiary of the Birminghambased Ryland Vehicle Group, standards deteriorated."

I should know that the name should read "Ryland" as I am the Mr Dobson who sold Dobson (Edinburgh) Limited to that company back in 1978.

I would add that the remainder of the article is beautifully worded!
