Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

Keywords : Kirkcaldy, Linoleum, Fife

• A.G. Horton (Transport) Ltd. of Tipton, formerly registered in the West Midlands, was granted a transfer of base to Fife by the Scottish L.A. Mr. A. B. Birnie. on Tuesday. In evidence it was shown that there was a 99.9 per cent ownership by Andrew VVishart and Sons Ltd. of Kirkcaldy and that the work undertaken by the two firms was identical. trading between Birmingham and Kirkcaldy to serve the linoleum and plastics industry. The work to be done was as before.

Reason for the transfer was due to difficulty in obtaining mechanics in the Birmingham area and the better maintenance facilities and staff at Fife. Maintenance for the two firms had been handled at Kirkcaldy for some time and the arrangement justified the proposed transfer of base.
