• Chester City Transport has taken delivery of two coach-seated Leyland Olympian double-deckers which are among the first longwheelbase versions to be bodied by Northern Counties. They will be used solely as coaches for a year then on mixed operations. The 77-seaters have Cummins L10 engines and ZF five-speed gearboxes. Fifth gear can be locked out of use for local bus work.
