• Booming business in Staffordshire has led express parcels carrier ANC to expand its Newcastle under Lyme depot. The site currently handles more than 35,000 parcels a night. ANC wants to increase this to 20,000 consignments an hour.
The company is also adding seven new Scanias to the fleet, as well as purchasing 25 replacement tractive units.
