• Laura Ashley Industries has invested 275,000 in five Volvo trucks to launch its new furniture home delivery service in the UK.
The lorries are FL614 box vehicles, each purposebuilt with twin decks to accommodate the full range of furniture, which ranges from coffee tables to four poster beds.
Deliveries will be made out of the company's new 4,645m2 furniture distribution centre at Milton Keynes.
