A DEPUTY Licensing Authority has been criticised for not giving a Leicester operator a chance of making representations about conditions on his operator's licence.

The Transport Tribunal, in orderingEastern DLA Humphrey Lewis to reconsider an application from Roger Bown, trading as RGB Transport, of Birstall, Leicester, said the law demanded that an operator should have an opportunity to make representations about conditions to be attached to the licence.

Mr Lewis had restricted the hours during which Mr Bown's operating centre could be used.
