BECAUSE of an error in calculating penalties, the published results of the Coventry round of the Lorry Driver of the Year Competition were largely incorrect. The following amended placings have now been issued:— Class At I—R. V. Riley (Barleys. Ltd.), 440 marks. 2—M. Hammond (Latham Haulage Co., Ltd.), 431 marks. 3—A. Alexander (G.P.O.. Coventry), 431 marks. (Second piece gained on time.)

Mr. M. J. Miles, secretary of the organizing committee, has notified the competitors concerned and expressed his regrets. R. Willoughby still holds the highest marks of the day.
