A The National Joint Council on Materials
Handling, St. Ives House, St. Ives Road, Maidenhead, Berks., has study groups working on ..—Bulk handling ; operator training/ accident prevention: research on materials handling; national pallet pool (in conjunction with a working party of the Ministry of Technology); pallet pool for the grocery trade; space utilization and automatic weighing.
Other reports already published by the Council deal with materials handling and road vehicle design, costing of materials handling (under the auspices of the Institution of Production Engineers), interchange freight handling and automatic warehousing.
