THE BOARD of Trade this week announced that it did not intend to refer the proposed Leyland Motor Corporation-Rover Co. Ltd. merger to the Monopolies Commission.
Burma Sound: Myama Import Corporation—the Burma State purchasing organization—has given Taskers an order worth over £82000 for 75 10-ton timber trailers and couplings for GMC trucks. The trailers will be used by Burma State Timber Board.
Mintex Service Depot: Mintex Ltd. has opened a new service depot at Portrack Lane, North Tees Industral Estate.
