TEN NEW inland freight clearance centres are planned by British Railways, in conjunction with State and private companies, it was confirmed by BR this week. Likely sites are Birmingham, Cardiff, Glasgow, London, Liverpool, Leeds, Manchester, Newcastle upon Tyne, Nottingham and Stockton.
