rIESPITE a recent increase in trolley1-./ bus fares, Nottingham Transport Department fears an estimated deficit of £59,700 in the year ending March 31.
This forecast was given when the corporation applied to the East Midland Licensing Authority for permission to increase bus fares to a minimum ordinary rate of Vid. for adults and Id. for children on all routes. There were no objections.
The proposed increases would increase receipts by £50,400.
