The European Communities (Rights against Insurers) Regulations 2002, CIF 19 January 2003. These regulations give effect to Article 3 of the Fourth Directive. They confer to residents of the EU a new right to issue proceedings against the insurer of a person responsible for an accident in the UK.

The Road Vehicles (Registration and Licensing) (Amendment) Regulations 2002, CIF 18 September 2002. Amends regulations to make examination of a vehicle mandatory in specified circumstances before a replacement registration document is issued, to satisfy the Secretary of State of the identity of the vehicle.
