Most operators using this size of vehicle will expect to keep it for four to five years. There is nothing drastically wrong with the Daily line-up and I am sure that when the 650 shows up at auction it will attract a lot of attention—but we don't anticipate that happening very often for next couple of years".

The chassis cab also offers the opportunity for curtain sider, box, dropside and flat bodies. The possibility of the crew cab makes it a popular choice among local authorities and with the AA while the long chassis appeals to bus builders with the opportunity to create 24-seater bodies. With a legal speed of 70mph it is quick but the large van dimensions make it feel less like a truck to handle. We don't list it yet so there are not many used examples for sale but a two-year-old van should retail at £12,395 and dropside at just slightly less at D2,250.-,
