• Arbroathbased Alexander Skea has had his licence authorisation cut from four vehicles to three due to maintenance problems. Scottish LA Keith Waterworth also cut the duration of Skea's licence to expire at the end of July.
Skea, who trades as Skea Distribution, appeared at a Dundee disciplinary inquiry where the LA heard of a series of prohibition notices.
Evidence was given that in future safety inspections would be carried out by Skea's own staff every six weeks/10,000Iun, and major repairs would be undertaken by Caledonian Motors.
Waterworth said that within three weeks he wanted to see written proof of a contract with Caledonian Motors.
