LANDI HARTOG UK Ltd has installed new training facilities at its Yorkshire headquarters.

The Halifax company claims to be market leader in lpg fuel systems, with a penetration of over 50 per cent.

To cope with increased demand, a programme of weekly courses at the new centre is now under way giving dealer personnel from all over the country three days of theoretical and practical training in all aspects of. lpg safety and installation techniques.

Eight technicians can be accommodated on each course and lecture room facilities include audio-visual aids for overhead projection and video recording supported by a film library covering safety issues and the crash testing of vehicles equipped with lpg systems.

Landi Hartog also has a full engineering workshop for the machining of specialist compo nents connected with the installation of lpg equipment.

This is used mainly for development work by Landi Hartog in conjunction with vehicle manufacturers to produce new installation kits and obtain manufacturers' warranty.
