Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

MERCEDES-BENZ (UK) Ltd has introduced a 3.2 metre 110ft 6in) wheelbase version of its 1625 S tractive unit. Up to now the 1625 S has been available only in 3.0m (9ft 10in) wheelbase form with either the "S" (short day cab) or "M" (short sleeper cab). (CM road test November 7 1981) Mercedes says that many operators using semi-trailers with deeper kingpin positions (40in plus) have requested the longer wheelbase version. The short wheelbase 1625 will be retained to satisfy those operators using semi-trailers with 30 — 36in kingpin positions.

The "M" cab is the only one offered on the new 1625 variant. Retail price for the tractive unit with single bunk is £22,645.
