Our policy is to train and re-train.
We train everybody who's associated with us. From Operatives through to Management. And on through to the Dealer's Service Staff.
We bring in the Dealer's Servicemen to train in our factories, either when we're launching a new vehicle or, simply, on one of our 21 different courses ranging from service management to vehicle diagnosis.
We'll give you an example of what Bedford mean by training.
When a Dealer puts up a man to train as a Transport Specialist we put him through an intensive course. If he's really good, he'll qualify as an Associate of the Transport Specialist Force.
Next year he'll train to requalify for Associate Membership.
Next year he'll try for Membership.
Each year he must requali up to higher and higher professional standards. And f the rest of his working life he' come back to us once a year ft briefing.
