A NEW range of International trucks .1-1 gives a choice of 168 chassis and 296 wheelbases, the vehicles covering gross laden weights from 371 cwt. to 311 tons. Known as the R range, there are claimed to, be 307 new .features incorporated in the various chassis. There are 29 engines ranging in output from 81 b.h.p. to 356 b.h.p., and a wide selection of axles and axle ratios is offered. Amongst the new features on certain models are duplex-valve shock absorbers, visible-flow downdraught carburetters with fast-idle cam, lightweight self-contained air brakes (an optional feature), universal joints of increased capacity and stronger rear axles and pinion bearing shafts.

TOUR LICENCES FOR LEAVE .SERVICES IT is the policy of the Eastern 1 Licensing Authority to grant excursion and tour licences for leave services from military camps, Mr. W. P. S. Ormond, the chairman, said at Cambridge. He refused applications by Mr. Herbert Quinlan, of Enfield, to run an express service from Honington R.A.F. station to London and by the Eastern Counties Omnibus Co., Ltd., ' to operate from Honington and Barnham to Blackpool.

Messrs. Mulleys Motorways, of Ixworth, are already licensed to operate from the camps.
