TWO NEW FORMS of computer have been installed by subsidiaries of the National Bus Company. Both are MDS 2400 key-to-disc systems which will be used for preparing contract tickets, operational costing, pay rolls. productivity bonuses, purchases, stores and 16,000 way bills each week. One of the computers is being operated by Scout Computer Services Ltd in Preston and provides a bureau service for Crosvi Ile, Cumberland Motor Services, National Travel (North West) and Ribble. The other unit is with Crosville Motor Services.

The two machines are worth nearly £94,000.
