IN the first six months of operation, Finfreight 1.td, a subsidiary of Transcontinental Freight Ltd, Heywood, Lanes, realised a turnover in excess of £80,000.
The company has now applied for an operators' licence to operate TIR trailers, primarily to Finland, on an unaccompanied basis. Finfreight's services are guaranteed weekly departures for Helsinki and Mantylnote in Finland, Oslo in Norway and Gothenburg and Stockhohne in Sweden and Copenhagen in Denmark.
