THE Transport Minister is examining the possibility of introducing more specific requirements for the security of lorry loads.
Mr Neil Carmichael, UnderSecretary DoE, stated this in the Commons after Mr Roger Sims (Tory, Chislehurst) had called for legislation requiring goods-carrying vehicles to have their loads protected by securely fastened tarpaulins.
