THE CM prize for success in the Royal Society of Arts Examinations has been won this year by Malcolm 0. Dodd, assistant transport manager, C. D. Bowes & Son Ltd of Norfolk. This £25 prize is awarded to a candidate employed by a company engaged in road haulage for hire and reward who qual ifies for the diploma in road transport, and obtains the highest aggregate of marks in five papers including road transport operation (goods).
Other RSA examination prizes went to Michael K. Fleming, driving instructor, Road Transport Industry Training Board, Motor Transport and Herbert Crowe award: Matthew J. Campbell, accountant, Andrew Hogg & Sons Ltd, National Freight Corporation and Road Haulage Association awards; William Skeggs, bus conductor, London Transport, National Bus Company and London Transport Executive awards; Philip A. Miller, administration manager (distribution) Bass (South West) Ltd, Freight Transport Association award; Raymond E. Young, bus driver, London Transport, London Transport Executive award; Alan L. Squires, bus driver, Nottingham City Transport, APPTO award; Ronald Gamblin, inspector, Tyneside Passenger Transport Executive. APPTO Danum award.
The Scottish Road Passenger Transport Association and Scottish Cooperative Transport Association prizes were not awarded.
