III To provide service and repair facilities at one centre for tankers, trailers and other commercial vehicles, Allied Transport Engineering has been formed. It is a partnership between Yorkshire Engineering and Welding Co. Ltd. and HWP Engi neering Co. Ltd:
Facilities have been acquired at Humber Road. South Killingholme. Immingham, near G'rimsby. Linos (phone Immingham 2210), where a new nine-bay workshop has been completed and large stocks of spares will be carried. The manager is Mr. Maurice Bassendale, formerly with Continental Oil Co. (UK) Ltd. for 10 years.
