Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

The summer holidays and kids off school generally mean a bit of a slowdown of traffic on the TruckNet UK forums.

This year, however, the number of posts and readers has not faltered. Last month, we gained more than 90,000 page views which is more than in the same period last year.

The number of registered users also continues to rise, with more than 12,000 industry members capable of posting to the board, and many more unregistered visitors simply coming to read what their industry peers are talking about.

The diversity of subjects continues hot topics this week include longer trailers do we want them?'; 'Is there a fuel card monopoly?'; and 'sharing cabins on ferries and old cafes', to name but a few. Hundreds more conversations and images are being added 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

With all this traffic, it is clear the forums are increasingly being used both as a social network and as a business tool.

Roadtransport. corn and TruckNet UK have partnered with Capital Stores to provide those using the forums with easy access to products they might want. From LCD TVs and sat-nay systems to chrome accessories and water containers, the new online shop offers a huge range of items, available to be ordered 24/7.

Members using the TruckNet UK forums get special offers each month on items particularly attractive to those in the transport industry; and forum members also get a coupon code for a discount on their first purchase of items in the truck accessory range. For further details, log on to www.capitalstores.co.uk/trucknet We intend to add to the services we provide, giving the industry professional a range of tools that can be used in the day-to-day business of moving goods around the country. To do this, we need to know what you would like to see on the websites. You can either register on the forums (it's totally free) and have your say, or mail your ideas and thoughts to UKAdmin@Truck.Net
