The real world

Is this the public's perception of the haulage industry? "The Truck and Van Bill: Ban all deliveries and collections by commercial vehicles in all town centres between 07:00 and 19:00hrs. In return for some people working odd hours, think of the relief to traffic in town centres where all thoroughfares at the moment have at least one lane blocked by the ubiqui tous white van delivery" (Daily Mai/ letters page, 11 August.)

I wonder how many people who have read this article have any idea what is really involved in deliveries to town centres, multidrops, timed deliveries and the like. Rapidmove Removals,

Wilmslow, Cheshire
