• West Drayton-based Taybred Lines has added 11 new high-volume Montracon triaxle curtainsiders and a pair of twinsteer Daf XF430s to its largely Renault Magnum fleet, The 13.6 x 4.5m trailers, which were supplied via Hill Hire, have a 3.05m (10ft) internal load height and a load volume of more than 100m, which is especially useful for its contract with potato crisp manufacturers. But the 6,900kg-unladen weight trailers are also sturdy enough for brewery and supermarket work.
On the question of moving up to 41 tonnes, general manager Paul Craven says: "We're well placed for it but like everyone else, we want to know what the
