ROAD HUMPS on certain rr restricted to a 30mph sr limit will become legal f August 25. From that 1 speeding vehicles could be ii a bumpy ride.
The humps are hoped tc duce speed-related accidi and will be a "useful additior traffic management method ready employed by local lway authorities for road sE purposes, the Departmen Transport said.
The humps will be 10( (4ins) in height and 3.7m (12 length and can only be inst on stretches of well lit roads a feature which reduces ve speed, such as a bend, or a j tion, at either end.
