Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

IVECO UK sales and marketing director David Gill is predicting a total of about 50,000 vehicle registrations for 1983 in the over3.5 tonne category.

This compares with the 45,000-odd vehicles for both 1981 and 1982 and with the 1979 peak of 80,000 units.

Mr Gill commented that while this was good news "it will still be the third worst year since the war."

Iveco is also predicting a decrease in the market for eightwheeled rigids because of the increase in gross weight limits for artics to 38 tonnes.
