NATIONAL BUS subsidiary Western National's engineering services unit is the basis for a new commercial vehicle engineering service in the West Country.
In addition to providing engineering back-up for the four new NBC bus and coach operating companies formed by splitting up the old company, Herald Engineering (as the unit has been named) will undertake all types of overhaul for other operators of both buses, coaches and commercial vehicles.
Herald Engineering also plans to offer a comprehensive consultancy service for West Country operators covering all aspects of workshop design, stock control and vehicle maintenance planning.
Herald Engineering is based at Laira Bridge Road, Plymouth and has workshops in Plymouth, Torquay and Penzance.
