TRUNK ROAD improvements will affect traffic in several parts of the country.
Widening and strengthening of the A66 bridge at Eden Lodge, Kirkby There, four miles northwest of Appleby, means that there will be single line working after the August bank holiday until July next year.
Single-line working will affect the A446 junction with Watton Lane, Coleshill, in the West Midlands. This lasts for four months.
And on the A3 in Hampshire, work has started on the improvement of the Clanfield crossroads to Gravel Hill section. It will be complete by early 1985.
