CHUBB FIRE SECURITY
The Chubb Group has consolidated its fire protection interests with the formation of a new company, Chubb Fire Security Ltd, which began operations on July 30. The new company has a work force of some 3000, and its turnover will exceed Cl 5w. The Chubb companies which are being' integrated to form Chubb Fire Security are: The Pyrene Co Ltd: Minimax Ltcl; Read and Campbell Ltd: and Samuel Jones and Co (Engineering/ Ltd. This group will continue to use the individual brand names of Pyrene, Minimax, and Read and Campbell. Samuel Jones will trade as a wholly owned subsidiary. The hg of Chubb Fire Security Ltd. are at Pyrene House, Staines Road West, Sunbury-on-Thames, Middx. Mr WE. Randall is chairman.

BROWN BROTHERS Brown Brothers branches at Acton, Brockiey, Croydon, Rornford and Tottenham are now open on SaturdaYs from 8.30 am until 12.30 pm for trade counter and telephone order service. Brown Brothers and Thomson & Brown Brothers main depots and specialized service branches in all other parts of the UK have always been open on Saturdays. and will continue to be so.
