• A secure car park for commercial vehicles should be provided in the Norwich area, said Mr Kevin Fitzmauriee at a meeting of Norwich and District Crime Prevention Panel at the county police headquarters.
After a short discussion the panel decided to 'write to the town clerk, asking if Mr Fitzmaurice's suggestion could be put before the appropriate city committee.
Mr C. G. Taylor, the deputy Chief Constable, who is chairman of the panel, said: "We would like to see this sort of thing. It gets the vehicles off the road. Many of them are parking on housing estates."
