A'application for a variation of B licence to add one vehicle was granted to Heaps Bros. (V. J. and V. S. (Bolton)) by the North Western deputy Licensing Authority, Mr. G. Newman, in Manchester last week, despite an objection by Mrs. Edna Heaps on behalf of Heaps Haulage (Atherton) Ltd., of which company she is assistant secretary.
The brothers successful in this application were formerly connected with the objecting company.
The additional vehicle is to be used for general goods (excluding furniture and household removals) over a I2-mile radius.
