nNE of many vehicles being built by Alfred Walker Coachbuilders (1934) Ltd., Greycaines Trading Estate. Watford, on the new Ford D chassis is the boxvan (right) for Suchard Chocolate Ltd.. based on a D500 156-in.-wheelbase chassis supplied by Dennis Barley and Son Ltd., of Welwyn Garden City. The vehicle is designed to deliver cartons of chocolates on outward journeys, and collect raw materials used in the manufacture of chocolate on the return journeys.
