L-OR the construction and management of the bus station to be provided' at Otley, Yorkshire, the West Yorkshire Road Car Co., Ltd., I farro. gate, has co-operated with Mr. Samuel Ledgard, the Leeds independent operator, in the formation of a new company.
Otley Omnibus Stations, Ltd. The station, the cost 'of which is .estimated at about £8,000, is primarily for the use of their vehicles, but it will also be ,available to other passenger-vehicle -,operators.
To be erected on a site covering approximately 2,500 sq. yds. between Bondgate and Boroughgate, adjoining the new road, it will consist of platforms for the loading and unloading of buses, using Otley as a terminus, or passing through the town, with waiting rooms, lavatory accommodation, and inquiry, and left-luggage, offices. The West Yorkshire concern is, of course, a member of the combine.
