This year, "The Motor Transport Year Book and Directory " celebrates its 21st anniversary. The 1037 edition, which is ..now on sale, contains the latest particulars of some 10,1.50 undertakings, of which over 8;400 are roadtransport concerns. The section dealing with commercial aviation has been brought up to date.
The "Year Book," which has been fully revised, shows that the total now invested in road-transport undertakings is over 93,000,000, and the average rate of dividend and interest paid is 7.55 per cent.
