Tributes were paid to Shetland motor-vehicle operators by Mr. Henry Riches, Northern Scotland Licensing Authority, at a sitting in Lerwick. He said:— " We are glad to see that there is a much better atmosphere. and better feeling between operators. We took the opportunity of watching proceedings at Dingwall Show. We noted how well the heavy traffic was handled.
" We were very pleased with the way in which the operators looked after their vehicles. It was all exceedingly well done and reflected great credit on the operators."
